Software QA Trainee – Job Duties (Summary):

Performed levels of testing (Unit Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, Acceptance Testing)
Create test cases based on the finalized PRD document
Knowledge of API Testing will be plus
Perform early testing to eliminate defects at an early stage reduces the bug fixing cost and time
Writing test cases, executing tests with appropriate techniques (manually or by using test execution tools) and documenting testing failures
Analyze the Defects and identify the root cause
Troubleshoot defects, such that it does not affect the product quality
Interact with the project manager, development team as per need
Conduct different test procedures, report issues, and follow up on the status of the issues
Collaborate with the software testing team to assess or diagnose problems and suggest possible solutions
Provides a test summary report that reflects the software under the test’s top-notch quality
Write QA automation scripts
Knowledge of Python will be a plus
