Software Tester – Job Duties (Summary):
- Designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures
- Executing tests on source code
- Analyzing test results and reporting to the development team
- Working with the development team to correct bugs and errors
- Document and communicate automated test results and resolution of open issues
- Conduct automated testing using various: servers, operating systems, browsers, and older versions of existing applications
- Able to collaborate with QA, Business Analysts, and development teams to develop test scripts and test solutions
- Interact with developer teams and TL to offer suggestions and ideas to improve the quality of the product
- Analyse testing results to enhance future test scenarios and test scripts
- Maintain automation framework and test scripts, and execute automated test scripts to ensure that products and services meet standard end-user requirements
